Senior Associate
Senior Associate Brigida Bacienė has over 15 years of legal experience. She specialises in Employment Law, Data Protection, Intellectual Property, Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT), Dispute Resolution, and Competition Law.
Brigida advises clients on redundancies, employee transfers, employment of foreign nationals, and the drafting and implementation of internal policies. She conducts employment law audits, provides training on employment law issues, and represents employers in cases regarding unfair competition.
Brigida is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and passed the Internal Auditor exam in 2023. She performs GDPR audits, acts as a Data Protection Officer (DPO), assists in managing data breaches, and provides advice on data protection and cybersecurity matters.
Furthermore, Brigida focuses significantly on legal issues related to IT systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, computer software, and IT services. She advises clients on developing and selling IT solutions and providing IT services (including SaaS, SLA, software development, and transfer agreements).
Brigida actively participates in conferences, conducts training sessions, and shares her expertise with clients and the public.
