Lawyer Gediminas Zaranka specialises in the fields of Public Procurement, Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), Competition, and European Union Law.

He possesses extensive experience in representing both contracting authorities and suppliers at all stages of the public procurement process—from drafting procurement documents and proposals to dispute resolution in court.

In the field of PPP, Gediminas assists in the implementation of long-term public infrastructure projects, covering everything from structuring the partnership model and drafting contracts to risk management and supervision of implementation. He also provides expert advice on the application of State Aid and the compliance of public sector decisions with competition principles. He represents clients in cases regarding financial corrections applied to projects funded by EU funds, as well as in disputes related to public sector decisions.

Furthermore, Gediminas has significant experience in Energy Law. He contributed to advising on the synchronisation of the electricity system with the Continental European networks, drafting the legal regulation for dispatch agreements and power reserve auctions, and advising on the implementation of the “Energy Cells” battery storage system project.
