Law firm Glimstedt has contributed to another successful transaction – Boreo Plc has completed the acquisition of Elfa Distrelec sales activities in Finland and the Baltics.
The transaction was completed on 1 August 2025, after all the conditions precedent were met, including regulatory approvals in Finland and Estonia.
With this acquisition, Boreo Plc strengthens its position in the electronics sector – the acquired operations are integrated into the newly formed company YE RS, which combines the acquired Elfa Distrelec activities with its existing RS activities operations in the region.
Law firms Legal Folks and Glimstedt assisted Boreo Plc throughout the deal in Finland and the Baltics. Glimstedt represented the interests of Boreo Plc in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia throughout the transaction – performed legal due diligence, prepared transaction documents, represented the client in all the stages of the transaction – from signing to closing, and provided legal advice on all local law legal matters in the course of conclusion and implementation of the transaction.
